Right wing not happy with Pope Francis

pope-francis_guardianlvReuters reported that “Pope Francis called for renewal of the Roman Catholic Church and attacked unfettered capitalism as “a new tyranny”, urging global leaders to fight poverty and growing inequality in the first major work he has authored alone as pontiff.”  The pope came out with an “84-page document, known as an apostolic exhortation.”  This is monumental as his paper amounts to his official position – his vision for the Church.  Progressives are pleased with this as it reaffirms the values of progressivism – to address inequality, to give everyone a fair chance at life, that no one in America should go to bed to wake up to hunger, that you get a fair wage for work, that women be respected and paid the same as men; that the rich share in their prosperity but giving back to the community; that all citizens should have affordable health care.  This is not what the Right wing is about and you don’t have to believe me it is all over.  How will the Right reconcile the Pope’s message of compassion with all their lack of compassion?  This Washington Post report on the Pope has 12 charts that depict key challenges we must tackle.  Please share and comment and like us on Facebook.
